MARIACHI TALES Youth Arts Education
Mariachi Tales weave storytelling and music using the English and Spanish languages to draw the audience into the essence of Mexican culture. Several original tales will be performed including: Tortilla Moon, the story of how Tlaloc, the giant Aztec god of rain and lightning created the moon; The Rooster Cantador, the story of a talented singer who needed to learn to compromise; and La Llorona, a not-so-scary ghost story. Mariachi Tales inspires us to honor our own heritage.
